Sci-fi Adventure Somerville Revealed By Former Limbo and Inside Dev

Jumpship Studio has revealed its debut title Somerville which is set to be a sci-fi action adventure game. Dino Patti, the former CEO and co-founder of Playdead, made the announcement on Twitter revealing both the new studio, Jumpship and Somerville.

Somerville has been in development for the past three years initially as a side project by Chris Olsen, a film animator who worked on Skyfall, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Heavenly Sword. This game will be a 2D side-scroller but from the teaser, it looks like it’ll be absolutely dazzling.

This new sci-fi adventure is still in its early stages but Olsen has said that the story of Somerville “chronicles the lives of key individuals in the wake of a global catastrophe.” You can check out the game's official Tumblr page to see more of the games progress so far.

There has been no official news on which platforms Somerville will debut on, but since Limbo and Inside released on all consoles we’d surprised if it didn’t turn up on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. (from)
