Victims Killed in accident in Mina Now Reaches 717 People


The Saudi Arabian government re-announced number of victims of the disaster in Mina continues to grow. Now, the death toll was recorded more than 700 people.

Reporting from his official Twitter account, civil defense authorities of Saudi Arabia stated that the death toll reached 717 people. While injuries from these events reached 863 people.

Up to now, is not yet known about the certainty the number of victims who came from Indonesia. Earlier, a citizen of Indonesia reported to be victims in the accident. Not yet known whether the victim from Indonesia were killed or injured.

Until now, the evacuation team of the Consulate General in Jeddah still do a search on the possibility of increasing the number of citizens who become victims.

"From checking in the field, identified one person congregation citizen becomes a victim in the incident," said Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sunarko, through citizen Protection Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
